Why the three disciplines sit together
A formulation team that never speaks to an assay team will solve its own problem and create someone else's. We organised the business to close that gap rather than to manage it.
In practice this means a formulation is designed alongside the analytical method that will release it, and an instrument is designed knowing precisely what it will be asked to detect. Fewer handovers, fewer translation losses, and a shorter path from an idea to something that can actually be manufactured.
It also shapes what we research. Problems encountered at the boundary between formulation and measurement are the ones our innovation programme is pointed at, because they are the ones we meet most often and understand best.

Evidence before assertion
Nothing is stated as established until data supports it. Where a question is open we say it is open, which is the only way a client can plan around it.
Documented from the first run
Traceability is built in from the earliest development work rather than reconstructed later, because reconstruction is where records go wrong.

Unpublished work is discussed under agreement, in both directions. We expect the same protection we extend.
